Article: Auction Talk - the best discussion forums for eBay traders!
The internet provides all sorts of ways for eBay traders to enter into discussions with other people from all over the world. By discussing auction related matters with other traders you can keep up to date with eBay news and share trading ideas and advice.
Perhaps the first place to start is with eBay UKs discussion boards. However, there are a number of other great discussion forums worth visiting.
UK Specific Sites.
Auction Lot Watch is a small forum covering all UK internet auctions sites.
Trader Online Forum has a lot of discussion about sourcing wholesale goods in the UK for sale on eBay and on ecommerce websites, as well as general internet trading issues.Has good 'community' feel to it.
Another UK based forum with an eBay section is Money and Motivation Forum. This is VERY new but might be worth a look sometime.
UK business start up / trading advice is avalable at Start in Business and Start Ups. There is also some general UK business chat at Business Talk.
Rest of the world.
The forum at Auction Bytes is a large popular site catering, predominantly, for US based traders. The Auction Board is similar. It has fewer members, and has a 'community' feel to it. Another good discussion board is Auction Hints.
The Self Starters Weekly Tips Forum is US based and covers internet trading generally, but has a section dedicated to eBay.
Two others worth visiting are The Auction Crowd and eBay Groupie (which is just starting out and currently has only 36 registered users). Both based in the US.
Also worth visiting is the Australian Work At Home Moms eBay Discussion Forum AuctionMums
Many forums allow you to include a link to a site of your choice each time you discuss anything on the forum. Remember to make that link a link to your eBay 'About Me' page or your website, or both.
